About the event
Hosted by TAFTA, this Premier Staged Reading of the new play by American comedienne and playwright, Amy Chaffee will feature an all-but-one Aussie cast. This story, based on real events, chronicals the misadventures of a band of pregnant college wives in 1968 when one of their own needs medical care that is illegal and dangerous. Chaffee's previous work when it premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe was called, "Witty," "Irreverant" and "deeply personal."
